Privacy Policy

Fairway Ladies Golf ("we," "us," or "our") built this app to help women's golf leagues run fairly and help every golfer grow. Protecting your privacy - especially the personal, development-focused parts of the app - is core to that mission. This policy explains what we collect and why.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information - name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register.
• Profile information - anything you add to your golfer profile, such as home course, experience level, and your "Golf Vision."
• League and club details - league name, colors, logo, and your role, when you create or join a league.
• Scores - golf scores you enter or confirm, whether typed manually or suggested by the scorecard scanner.
• Photos - images you upload, including scorecard photos and photos for league albums. Tagging is opt-in and subject to leadership approval.
• Development plan content - your "My Plan" notes, next-right-step entries, and confidence reflections you choose to record.

Information from sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares with us at sign-in - typically your name and email address. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not post anything back to your Google account.

Information collected automatically

Like most apps, we collect basic technical data such as device type, browser, and app usage events (for example, which features you use) to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use your information

• create and manage your account and authenticate you;
• run league features - sign-ups, calendars, rosters, directories, and leaderboards;
• record and display scores within your league, including Caddie-assisted scorecard reading;
• power your private "My Plan," including smart suggestions based on your inputs;
• host and moderate photos through an opt-in, leadership-approved queue;
• send you transactional and league-related emails and notifications;
• maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Smart features

Some features use smart tools. When you photograph a scorecard, our Caddie scanner reads it to suggest scores - you confirm them before they are saved. When you build your Golf Vision or next-right-step, smart tools help shape suggestions from what you told us. We do not use your private development plan content to train public models. Scorecard photos are processed to extract scores and then handled per the retention rules below.

4. Who can see what

Your development plan is private

Your Golf Vision, My Plan notes, and confidence reflections are visible only to you and any coach you explicitly choose to invite - never to your league board, never on a leaderboard, and never in a woman-vs-woman comparison.

League-visible information

Your name, league membership, scores you contribute, and approved photos are visible to other members of your league, as that is the purpose of those features. Directory listings show only the information you have shared with your league.

Leadership roles

League leaders and assigned board members can see and manage the information needed to run the league (sign-ups, the photo approval queue, member roster) - but they cannot see any member's private development plan.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: (a) within your league as described above; (b) with the service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, email, automated processing, and analytics), under contracts that limit how they handle it; (c) to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety; and (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to confidentiality.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account and personal content at any time; some information shared in league spaces may remain until the relevant league removes it.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can manage most of this directly in the app, or contact us at barb@mykeyplans.com for help. You can disconnect Google sign-in at any time from your Google account settings.

Deleting your account: go to My Profile and tap Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, your personal golf plan and records, your community posts, comments and photos, and your place on any league roster. Scores already recorded in a league's results remain part of that league's record.

8. Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has registered, contact us so we can remove the account.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, access controls, and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International users

The app is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries whose laws may differ from yours.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
